He’s wild at heart. ð¼
Gulliver is a special kitty.
He tested positive for FeLV as a kitten and had numerous health challenges as a result.
ð
Cat flu, gastro, ringworm, bacterial skin infections…
This boy had it all. ð¬
Most young kittens who contract FeLV will not live beyond around 2 to 3 or so years, depending on their genetics, early life nutrition and other health complications.
The other kittens from the small town of Kulin that Gulliver was brought into care with ending up passing at around 6 months of age. ð
But Gulliver kept getting stronger. ð²
He has surpassed all our expectations! ð
Although he’s a healthy and happy boy atm, Gulliver still needs careful monitoring, a whole prey balanced raw diet, many natural supplements… ⤵ï¸
AND assistance with keeping his teeth in tip top shape.
Gulliver’s teeth are looking a lot bettter than they were last year, due to daily cleaning and chewing.
ð¦·
But he still needs a full dental clean by a vet.
And possibly some teeth extractions to avoid further deterioration in the future.
