Well folks, Mumma Ginger won that round. 😮‍💨

Despite our best efforts, she kept herself and her 5 semi-social teen kittens under the house and out of the traps.

At one point, she even turned on quite the feral performance… 😬

Thankfully our resident volunteer wasn’t injured. 🫨

But it was a close encounter with a mad mumma defending her (almost) adult babies!

We are patient and persistent though.

And have left a ‘propped up’ Drop Trap behind for the cats to be fed under.

This will (hopefully) set us up for success on the next round. 🤞

The trip wasn’t a total bust however, as we did trap a scruffy, hungry, stray Tomcat.

He wasn’t nearly as happy to see us as we were to see him! 😁

We also met Anzo and Myca, 2 stunning lil tabbies from a sheep station out of Kulin. 🤗

Trying to simply eradicate all cats only increases the successful movement and breeding of the cats that are left. ❌
