This little lass has overcome the odds stacked against her.

She’s now 6 days post op and her spay site is healing well. 👍

Pyometra can be a very dangerous condition.

Especially for a stray cat. 😬

But she got treatment just in time!

We transported her to another dedicated foster carer yesterday.

Chocolate now has a spare room all to herself to continue her recovery. ❤️‍🩹

She’s a shy lass and so went and hid in the smallest spot she could find lol 😶‍🌫️

But it’s been a challenging week, so we understand the need for a bit of peace and quiet.

Due to Chocolate’s uterine infection, her spay surgery was more expensive than usual.

And of the $272 it cost to give Chocolate a new life, there is ONLY $16 left to pay!
