These torbie sisters are simply the sweetest!
Trapping and transport is hard on the strays.
It’s all so scary and bewildering. ð¥º
We try to make the transition as calm as possible.
But there’s no getting around the fact that these little mites have had quite the shock.
ð¬
There’s a couple of things we do to try and help them settle down and settle in.
One is establishing a routine.
And the other is showing them exactly what they can expect from us.
* No direct eye contact.
* Slow blinks.
* Being still and sharing space.
* Gentle, brief touches.
* Calming sounds.
Along with food ð
And plenty of time to decompress.

And yes, these siblings sit on each other lol.
It’s comforting no doubt.
Soon they’ll have more confidence.
