Wemby is one-eyed Wimble’s brother.
Noirette is their mumma.
A Kulin stray cat family that is stray no more.
They came into our care as sick kittens.
Very sick. From a litter of four.
One kitten had already passed from FIP. Feline Infectious Peritonitis ð
Caused by a mutated strain of the
Feline Coronavirus.
I called him Wambles ð
Another kitten had advanced neurological FIP and our vets recommended pts due to her poor prognosis.
I called her Wombles ð
Although treatment exists for FIP these days, not every stray cat is rescued in time.
Wimbles and Wembles somehow survived.
Though not without a fight for life.
Wimbles lost her eye ð¬
And Wembles has extra long legs ð¯
Just thought I’d throw that in there lol ð¤·
Back to the winter sun…
All the fosters love the secure outdoor enclosure, especially when the sun grants us a little smile ðâºï¸
