Wimbles is now a ONE EYED cat! ð
Remember the little black ð¤ kitten I had to hand catch in Kulin many months ago?
Well she had an unfortunate turn of events on Sunday.
A sudden conjunctivitis infection caused Wimbles to scratch her own eye! ð
ð¬
She began responding to treatment, but her eye was too damaged to save.
So the amazing team at Heartlands Veterinary Hospitals in York performed an enucleation on Monday.
Huge thank you and much respect to the vets who dedicate their time and expertise so that our fosters can be healthy and happy! ð«¡
Wimbles is on her way home today… ð¤
I’m sure she misses her brother Wembles (who else could keep up with this
pocket rocket? ð¤·)
But she’ll have to be content with ‘chatting’ through crate bars for now.
Wimbles is on strict ‘bed rest’ until her surgery site is healed. ð¤«
