PS – If you’ve been following for awhile, you’ll know that the mumma of the ‘Flies’, Noirette, had a litter of 4 kittens.

Little Baby Noir passed away suddenly when she was a few weeks old unfortunately.

She ‘faded’ fast in only one day and then was gone in her sleep. ð¤

Despite appropriate interventions, she just didn’t respond. ð

There is always a reason when this occurs.

And often it is due to genetic issues.

Not all kittens are born with functional organs or immune systems.

Especially when the parent cats come from interbred colonies that carry diseases.

This is why #SpayAndNeuter programs are

SO important!

Mumma Noirette sadly has a history of loosing kittens due to ill health. ð

Having 3 out of 4 survive is the most success she has ever had (that we know of).

And now she will retire permanently from the ‘baby making business’ by being sterilised.

She will never have to go through another pregnancy or struggle to keep another litter alive…
