It was a major operation, after all.
How do I tell him that it was for the best?

I think perhaps food may be part of the answer ð lol.
He seemed rather unsure and tentative about everything when he first got home.
But then his appetite kicked back in! ð»
And he’s been on a recovery roll since then.
Eating, resting, eating some more…
He’s now progressed to some cooked chicken and practically leaps with excitement when it arrives ð
