Lil Bear and Sebastian at the vet… â¤ï¸âð©¹
I’m a tad behind in my updates. ð«£
This vet visit was a couple of weeks ago.
Thank you @heartlands_veterinary_hospital in York for always giving rescues the care they need!
Lil Bear had developed a cough and his sinusitis was worse than usual. It was time for a checkup and some medication to help him out.
As usual, he was SUCH an easy going champ!
His eyes became scarred with ulcers when he had the flu as a kitten.
So now when he has a viral flare, he needs to be checked for new ulcers.
All good… None to be seen! ð
We began fostering Lil Bear when he was 2 weeks old. He fought to survive and we fought alongside him.
There were 5 little black kittens in total.
2 sadly passed away. 2 thrived and were adopted.
Lil Bear experienced a little of both extremes.
He has health issues that need special attention.
But he also thrived and is a speed rocket around the house! ð

Sebastian is a shy sweety with some health issues of his own. He also had developed a cough and needed antibiotics to clear his lungs. ð
Sebastian, like many kittens born on the streets, has an immune system which is struggling and needs some extra support while he grows.
His sister, Kitana, found her forever home on the weekend! ð
We are SO happy for her!

Both Lil Bear and Sebastian responded wonderfully to their medication and are no longer coughing. ð
If you see or hear any flu symptoms from your own furbabies this winter, please get them to the vet for some help. ð
And wrapping them in a towel that smells like home can be a huge comfort to them!
