Take a peak at Milo’s homecare routine… â¤ï¸âð©¹
We’re following our vet’s instructions and keeping Milo as comfortable as we can.
* It’s always vital to seek veterinary treatment immediately for cats and dogs with injuries! â¼ï¸
The incubator assists us in keeping Milo’s temperature stable.
And allows us to control the humidity and oxygen levels. â
With a blocked nose, Milo was having to do some abdominal breathing to draw air into his lungs.
That can be exhausting.
Especially for an exhausted kitten!
So the O2 means he doesn’t have to work quite as hard to get the air he needs.

By the early hours of the morning, Milo was actively swallowing his syringed
Royal Canin Recovery food.
Saline nebulizers are great for decreasing the discomfort of nasal congestion and sore throats. ð¨ð¨
(No-one wants to swallow with a sore throat ð¬)
And if you’ve ever had a limb that has
‘gone to sleep’ ð you’ll know that massage and movement are important to recovery.
At various times in the night, Milo moved each of his legs himself.
And also his tail. Just the tip at first…
Then slowly from the base.
He stretched (slowly, wobbly and awkwardly) in different directions.
And even turned himself over unaided a couple of times. ð®
But along with all the feeding and turning and massaging, Milo also needs to sleep deeply.
Just like we do when we’ve had a traumatic time. ð´
