For the first time in OVER 3 years, we have UNDER 30 foster cats! ð

29 to be exact ð¸

Oh. My. GOSH!!!

I simply cannot convey HOW incredible this moment is!

Monumental might come close ð¤

But if you’ve ever had a whole bunch of fosters for years (60 on average for us) ðµâð« you know.

You know the work ð®âð¨, no days off and

the astronomical COST!! ð©

It’s not a job. Not a career. It’s a lifestyle.

Or a catstyle maybe lol?

Whatever it is, it’s NOT sustainable for us.

We’re in our 50’s and we NEED to slow down.

But it’s hard to say “no” to people in crises.

And it’s hard to say “no” to the cats who have nowhere to go ð¿

Yes and no mean life and death in rescue.

Which is why we want to spend time on empowering others.

Through collaboration we can achieve more.

He’s at Cat Haven WA to find his forever home ð§¡

Originally from a colony near Narrogin, he’s taken years to get ready for adoption.

Being a barn cat over winter has left him a tad on the tubby side ð but he’s honed his hunting skills, so if you have a rodent problem, Ranga is your guy! ð

Friendly and talkative, Ranga doesn’t like other cats but loves to be loved by people ð¤
