How’s Milo going? ð
He’s going slow and steady. ð
A few minutes activity is followed by hours of dozing or deep sleep.
Walking without wobbling is something he’s having to re-learn.
As well as eating.
He can’t figure out how to chomp on a clump of food, chew and swallow it yet. ð¤
I can see him thinking about it.
There’s some ‘muscle memory’ there.
And he’s trying to make it work.
But licking and sucking is how he’s getting most of his food at the moment.
And he isn’t really sure when he’s full.
So encouraging him to eat enough is important at this stage.
It’s like trying to stay full when all you can eat is soup. ð¬
For a recovering and growing kitten, that’s a lot of soup he needs to drink!
But the other end is coming ‘online’ well now.
Peeing and pooping independently 2 days in a row is pretty impressive!
We just need him to remember to go in the litter tray now. ð
Milo still needs 172 to cover two vet check-up appointments and a tray of Royal Canin Recovery food.
He LOVES the Recovery and at the moment, it’s the only thing he will reliably lick up and swallow.
I’m mixing it with kitten food to try and make it go further.
But he eats less when Recovery isn’t included in his bowl. ð¤·
