They are all improving but will require continued care for awhile yet. ❤️‍🩹

None of them have a robust gut microbiome unfortunately.

A robust microbiome has a wide and varied range of healthy bacteria… And plenty of them! 💪

Building that robust microbiome can take quite awhile.

* The mark on her nose is from ‘trap damage’.

Where she bumped her face against the metal mesh when caught in a humane trap.

It’s improving and will disappear soon.

Little Mumma Mittens…

is progressing slowly and steadily. 👌

Though still underweight, she’s not leaking smelly diarrhoea anymore. 😬

Thank goodness!

Her poops are forming up, though she has quite a way to go yet before her digestive system is healed and functional.

I suspect this lass has had a bacterial imbalance in her gut microbiome for quite some time.

It really is remarkable that she has survived. ❤️‍🩹

She’s also slowly becoming more comfortable in her new surroundings.

And being patted by a strange new person. ðŸ˜

Her ears are still somewhat sensitive due to the mites that had infested them.

But with continued treatment, I expect that to be resolved soon.
