Ned had a rather exciting weekend… 🙀

Although he wasn’t *too* sure how he felt about sharing HIS property with a new DOG. 🫣

Say what? 😲

Yep, we adopted a pound dog last week from

Celebrity Pets Rescue Charitable Trust in Malaga. 🤩

Quinn was one of the many, many Perth dogs desperately in need of a forever home.

And so we opened our hearts to him. 💕

Quinn isn’t too sure what to make of Ned.

And Ned isn’t too sure either haha. 😳

But with some slow and careful planning, these two unlikely lads are learning to go walkies with us. Together.

Of course, Ned’s idea of a walk usually involves a little tree climbing.

Especially when there’s a new dog on the block. 😄

Ned living his best life. 😎

I think of him as my #feraltofriendly poster boy.

He was so aggressive that I had to wear full protective gear to be in the same room. 😬

None of this hiding in a corner business lol.

Ned would consistently stalk me…

Trying to find an opening to attack.

We eventually came to an understanding.

And then we fell in love. 🤗

Ned does NOT do other cats though. ❌

And only JUST tolerates dogs who know their place.

So what to do with a foster cat like that?

Give them a job that suits their skill set. âœ

Ned is our pest control expert.

He patrols the barn and hay shed, keeping populations manageable.

He also LOVES spending supervised outdoor time with us!

Coming when called and keeping his paws off the wildlife. 👍

Which just goes to show that there’s a home that suits every cat.

Mumma Maeve’s Kulin kittens all found their forever homes last year. No more kittens for this gal. 🎉

Maeve has taken a long time to come around to the idea of people in her life.

She still likes her space, but soft beds, healthy food and

gentle scritches are all A OK according to Maeve. 👍

Initially, she was not a fan of boy cats. 😾

But now Maeve happily hangs out with no less than FIVE boys! 😻

It’s wonderful to see her blossoming. 🪻
