If you’ve been following for awhile, you’ll have seen she had a rough start to life and some rocky health patches. 🥺

But check her out now! 👌

Interesting to note that her coat colour has changed dramatically since she was a kitten. 🤔

Initially a lighter brown torti (hence the name Latte), she is now a true deep black torti.

Cats with a low protein diet can be missing out on important amino acids. ❗😬❗

Like tyrosine or phenylalanine.

Which are needed for correct melanin production.

Meanwhile, grey Azrael is a tentative eater…

Until ginger Gizmo shows an interest.

Then he picks up the pace and practically buries his face in the food. 😂

Kitty transport… 🚗

We drove 8 sweet felines from Northam to

Cat Haven yesterday.

Our foster Doughall was included.

He’s the gorgeous panther in the top right photo. 🖤💕🖤

Trapped around a year ago in a small country town, Doughall was shut down for a long time.

😳⛔🫣

But recently he REALLY found his mojo!

😻🏁😽

Although he looks as nervous as the other kitties after the long car ride, at home Doughall had transformed into an active, playful, friendly boy who simply craved attention! 🤗

HUGE thank you to Cat Haven for giving these Avon Valley and Wheatbelt cats a chance at a home of their own! 💝

It’s hard to say goodbye…

But our darling Doughall deserves every chance we can give him! 🫶

Poor dude has such a dry coat, despite a variety of oil supplements in his food daily.

🌟🥺🌟

So I now also drizzle a little Hemp oil down his spine and stroke it into the coat while he’s eating.

I suspect that Lucky’s digestive system and microbiome simply isn’t all it should be. 😬

Which may partly be contributing to his nervous, skittish disposition.

I hope in time to be able to further improve these issues. 🤞

But I think he’ll always be a rather Funky Cat…

And we love him, dry coat and all. 😍
