Latte’s life lesson… 👈

Our precious little foster who had a bad start to life was doing so well…

Until she suddenly fell ill with gastroenteritis. 😱

But the good news was just around the corner…

She’s back to her smoochy self in record time after a sleepover at the vets on Monday night. 👌

Thank you to the beautiful people who dedicate their lives to saving sick animals! 🙏

It’s super stressful when our furbabies are sick isn’t it?

I try to learn all I can from each challenging experience (though I’d rather just have healthy cats, thank you lol).

What have I learned from this experience?

1) Never be afraid to seek a second opinion.

2) Always ask if a full Diagnostic Differential has been performed before commencing treatment.

Stay curious about your cats. 👍

Knowledge isn’t just an option. It’s a necessity!

Be observant, proactive and advocate for best practise.

Most of all though… Treasure each day! 🤗

This sweet, young feral SCAN girl arrived on the same day as Peanut, Goliath and Hildie.

But she went to get her vet work done before I had a chance to introduce her.

You wouldn’t know it by looking at her, but this stunning girl and her brother were recently in need of urgent help. 😧

And veterinary intervention.

They and their wonderful, loving human had recently become homeless. ❌🏠❌

Unfortunately, this is a growing trend in WA.

Along with not enough rental housing allowing pets. 😾

Caring for cats without a home is downright difficult. 😩

Fortunately for this lass and her brother, they have found safe refuge with a rescue.
