Peach has been in care for awhile now.

Her confident kitten, Pip, found his forever home rather quickly. 🎉

But his sweet, shy young mumma has a little way to go before she’s ready for adoption. 😽

In order for Peach to receive some more one-on-one attention, we have enlisted the aid of a fantastic new SAFE Avon Valley foster carer, based in the Perth metro area. 🤩

❣️And we can’t thank her enough!❣️

As you can see, it doesn’t take a lot of room to foster a shy cat. 🤏

They just need a small, safe spot to snuggle into. 🫶

Peach has had her vet work done, is up to date on flea and worm treatments and is in very good health. 👈

Test pilot Mogwai takes the new

‘Cat Cave’ for a spin. 👌

After learning about some enterprising people in the US who make feral cat shelters from eskies, we decided to give it a go ourselves. 🤞

Our cat caves will be used for rescued fosters, to give them a snuggly warm den to retreat to in winter. 😻

It’s a work in progress. 👈

Next step is a rubber seal around the entrance.

And a variety of cooler box sizes. 👍
