🧡 Spud ‘n’ Tilly share the 🧡

Ginger boy Spud and his 5 siblings have an interesting story.

Every year like clockwork, their wild mumma would bring her latest litter of tinytot kittens to a wonderful #colonycaretaker in the Wheatbelt to be fed and cared for in her home. 😇

Then once the babies were weaned, the flighty mumma cat would disappear.

And not be seen until the following year.

🤔

But just before Christmas 2021, the lady caught the trap shy mumma with a #droptrap

Oh snap! 🙀

Mumma wasn’t impressed… #nomorekittens

But we were very happy to assist in a Full Circle approach to colony management. 👍

These sweet faces will be the last.

And that’s something to celebrate! 🥳

She and her siblings came into care when they were just 8 weeks old… very hungry and very fiesty! 😬 With many health issues. 😢

Carol and her gang are some of the lucky ones. 🍀 They have a future.

Many more cats and kittens are struggling to survive. Right now. 😭
