Honey started life in a Wheatbelt farm colony.

As is usually the way, the colony size went up ↗️

While the health went down ↘️

And the last thing anyone should want is a large, unhealthy feral colony on their property! 😱

Thankfully for Honey and her friends, they were lucky enough to have a property owner who cares about their welfare. âœ

And is prepared to work with rescues for the benefit of the cats. ⭐🥇⭐

Feral shouldn’t mean forgotten.

Because feral cats deserve respect too! 👈

Recently neutered, slightly skittish, VERY active and a real character. 🤩

Not good with other cats… but getting the hang of people fairly well. 😺

He’d make a brilliant workshop or stable companion! 👍

An all wet diet keeps him healthy. 🍗

And plenty of room to run and climb keeps him happy. 🤸‍♂️

Latte’s life lesson… 👈

Our precious little foster who had a bad start to life was doing so well…

Until she suddenly fell ill with gastroenteritis. 😱

But the good news was just around the corner…

She’s back to her smoochy self in record time after a sleepover at the vets on Monday night. 👌

Thank you to the beautiful people who dedicate their lives to saving sick animals! 🙏

It’s super stressful when our furbabies are sick isn’t it?

I try to learn all I can from each challenging experience (though I’d rather just have healthy cats, thank you lol).

What have I learned from this experience?

1) Never be afraid to seek a second opinion.

2) Always ask if a full Diagnostic Differential has been performed before commencing treatment.

Stay curious about your cats. 👍

Knowledge isn’t just an option. It’s a necessity!

Be observant, proactive and advocate for best practise.

Most of all though… Treasure each day! 🤗
