Zeb Reel 2… There’s that snaggle tooth again!

We have ‘talky’ bites and ‘cranky’ bites.

😉

Talky bites are gentle and I give them a free pass at the moment. 🤏

Successive approximations are a realistic goal with the Zebinator. 👍

But cranky bites earn a zero tolerance response. ☝️

Zeb is used to being the boss. 👑

And not so used to accommodating anyone else. 😬

So it’s a big challenge for him to be patted when food isn’t part of the equation. 😾

We don’t change if we aren’t challenged though, right?

The trick is balancing just the right amount of challenge. 👌

And of course Zeb knows that although I don’t always have a treat to offer him these days…

The next time I challenge him, I may very well have a treat in hand. 🤞

So it pays not to bite (too hard) the hand that feeds you. 😉

Hairbrush… Toothbrush… Whatever. 😳

Gulliver is the fluffiest foster we have.

And needs daily brushing.

It’s a work in progress. 😁

The other thing Gully needs is daily antibacterial mouth drops and food he has to work hard at chewing…

To reduce plaque and gingivitis as much as possible. ⬇️

However, despite these measures, he still needs a full dental clean. ❗

And extraction of some teeth. ☑️

It’s common for FeLV positive cats to need a little extra help in this area.

So I’m planning on kicking off a fundraiser… 🤑

If anyone has any tips or advice on the best fundraising platform for rescue cats, please let me know! 🙏
