Fred’s busy folks.

Busy doing kitten things.

All day, everyday. He’s busy being Fred.

While Fred is busy fredding, I’m learning to paint flowers. 🥀

Fred feels there should be more food and less flowers happening.

But other than that, he’s a happy lil chappy. 😘

Ranga (and his cute nose) also visited the vet recently.

He had a bit of a cough that he couldn’t shake.

But it’s cleared up now. 👌

Fred struttin’ his stuff 😍

I can’t help but giggle at Fred’s high stepping swagger.

😄

His proprioception is a little ‘off’, but this doesn’t cause him discomfort.

And doesn’t slow him down much either lol.

Fred’s had some sniffles this week 🤧, so we took him to Heartlands Veterinary Hospitals in York for a checkup.

As expected, Fred was such a good lil lad!

His flu is mild… he’s still eating and active.

But it’s best to be cautious with kittens and illnesses. ⚠️

Thank you once again to the Heartland’s team! ✨

Without vets, we couldn’t foster any cats, let alone special cases like Fred!

He needs diagnostic procedures (like a blood test and maybe an x-ray or ultrasound), to determine the specific cause of the weakness in his back legs and urinary incontinence.

Fred Update.

He’s eating with gusto, though his poops aren’t great yet.

This morning he had the last dose of antibiotics for his Urinary Tract Infection.

I’m hoping that the loose 💩 will improve now. 🤞

Unfortunately, his urinary incontinence has not changed. 😮‍💨

He still leaks pee in spurts as he runs about and when he sleeps.

So I’m trying to find washable kitten diapers that will fit him.

Extra small might work. 🤷

You can see how much strength his back legs have though, when he manages to get somewhat balanced and co-ordinated.
