Bin Babies Update… 🗑️

Actually, this update is a tad overdue 🤏

Oops lol.

This was the first couple of days in care.

I’ll need to get my skates on and do another update soon, as they are SO different now.

Not sure if we’ve ever had such a sweet bunch tbh. 🥰

They are at an age where socialising can take longer (8 weeks or under is ideal).

And there can be a fair amount of spat and spice.

But this litter didn’t get the memo obviously ðŸ˜

They’re a real life trash to treasure tale!

Those are the words I read on the cat carrier when we picked these kittens up from the vet last week.

Four words that hint at a backstory that shouldn’t be a reality.

Yet here we are.

A kitten with a badly broken leg due to domestic violence.

And his sibling who was spared.

Dorian Stray Update…

How FAR this lad has come! 👏

From feeling lost and feral with an injured eye.

To… THIS! 👌

Despite being FIV+, he healed quickly from enucleation surgery.

Despite starting life as a Kulin stray, he’s adapted to life in a home.

And despite being a shy, gentle soul he’s learning to have confidence around people and other friendly cats. 🤗

What more could we ask for?

Well, he needs a forever home. 🙏

A quiet, comforting space where he can continue his feral to friendly journey.

Around people who understand and appreciate his gentle nature, shy disposition…

And high pitched ‘squeaky toy’ meow! ðŸ˜

With his luxurious coat and chubby cheeks, he’s a cat teddy in need of a safe, indoor home…

And quality wet food to keep him healthy.

Thursday’s Vet Pickup…

L👀k at ALL those kitties! 🙀

None of them will be adding to the cat overpopulation problem!

We actually had a hard time fitting them in the cab.

And not all are shown in this reel.

I had to sit cross legged for the journey to Northam with a carrier on the floor and another on my lap. 😆

Good thing I’m rather flexible lol.

Thank you again to Lindelle 🙏 for meeting us near Midland with the Bullsbrook cats.

Having one vet up north and one down south of the river makes for interesting transport logistics.

But more wheels makes everything a whole lot easier! 👌

A vet run still takes anywhere from 4 to 5 hours out of our day though.

It’s a big commitment every week.

Especially when there are multiple vet runs in a week. 😬
