The extra funds have helped to pay for kitty litter, which we really can’t afford to run out of 😜

Big Blue’s Debut… 🥁

Handsome lad Bluey was causing all sorts of dramas as a free ranging tomcat.

Unsterilised and hungry…

Not a good combination, right? 😬

He was fighting pet cats for their food, peeing in houses and generally being a nuisance. 🤨

Kind Kondinin residents worked hard for months to humanely trap him so that he could get off the streets and into foster care.

Their hard work paid off!

Big Blue got so hungry that he FINALLY went in a trap in March this year! 👏

But then he accidentally escaped when we got him home 🤦

And was re-trapped again that very night.

🥴

Since then, his hair has grown long and silky…

So amazing to touch!

And he has handed in his ‘feral card’ in record speed!

He’ll be ready for vet work and adoption soon, so stay tuned! 👈

All about Wimbles… 🖤

Our one eyed funky foster had a snotty nostril… 🤧

And an itchy ear.

So off to the vet she went of course!

Wimbles is a lucky lass.

Lucky we rescued her in time.

From a litter of 4 black kittens, only she and her brother Wembles survived.

Their siblings passed from neurological FIP before we could help them. 😔

Good news is that we trapped their mumma last year (Mumma Noirette).

She responded well to the medication and is as active as ever! 💪

Wimbles is one of those cats that needs extra assistance to live a quality life.

She isn’t considered ‘highly adoptable’ due to her health history.

But we believe she still deserves the best we can offer her.

And right now, that means veterinary attention, quality food and lots of love. 💖

Mumma Noirette’s little ‘Flies’ are all grown up and simply gorgeous! 🤗

Their brother Dragonfly found a home ages ago.

And now it’s May and Fire’s turn. 🤞

Shy n spicy Tortico… 🫣

What to do with cats like Tuumi when they need a check-up at the vet? 😬

Tuumi had some flu symptoms at the same time as Ranga and Spicette.

(I’m still catching up on old footage now that I have a working phone again 🤷)

Towels, towels and more towels!

A Towel Tunnel wrapped soft n snug around a shy cat can make them feel sooo much safer. 🤗

Tuumi’s fully recovered now. âœ

She is FIV positive, like quite a few of our funky fosters.

So we’ll be keeping a close eye on her over winter.

She really is a beautiful lass, don’t you think?

A cross between a calico and a torti. 😍
